Sneezing. Pressure. Congestion.
Are You Experiencing Facial Pain Due to Chronic Sinusitis?
feeling miserable! You know the symptoms, but what’s causing your achy, swollen
congestion? When the nasal cavities in the face, around the nose and eyes swell and air is unable to circulate, your sinuses can become a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses.
This is known as Sinusitis (or sinus infection). For most people, sinusitis can be treated with OTC (over-the-counter) remedies. However, if you are experiencing repeated episodes of sinus pain, you may be stuck in a cycle of sinus infection.
- Loss of Smell
- Bad Breath
- Nasal Drip or Discharge
- Persistent Coughing
- Headache and Facial Pain
- Lack of Energy; Tiredness
- Nasal Congestion
- A Sore Throat
Break the Cycle of Sinus Infection
There are three types of sinusitis: acute, chronic or recurrent acute.
Most cases of sinusitis and their accompanying symptoms persist for 10 to 12 days, and resolve in about one month. This is known as acute sinusitis. Green or yellow nasal discharge. Fever. Puffy, irritated eyes. Nighttime cough. When chronic sinusitis strikes, sufferers will experience these unpleasant symptoms for longer than 3 months. When four or more episodes or outbreaks of sinusitis occur in a single year, continuing the cycle of sinus infection, this is known as recurrent acute sinusitis. Patients become frustrated after being treated with medications, antibiotics and numerous trips to the doctor, but nothing seems to work.

I had an appointment [with] Dr. LeBlanc. He is a very caring and polite doctor. I was really impressed with the staff from the time I signed in on my first visit.. They made me feel comfortable. Even though I was going through so much pain with my throat and ear, I felt the care and concern they offered. So impressed I told my sister about my experience and she's made an appt. with Dr. LeBlanc. Thank You.
